Week 4
The pups are all full of beans!!
They seem to be always on the go- and boy do they get everywhere!!
We have had a few problems with
their mum, Holly, exactly 3 weeks after having the pups, she was losing
a lot of blood and was starting to worry us, so a vet visit was in need,
and a good job we did too as holly had to taken straight in and placed
on a drip to repleace her fluid levels that were very low, she was very
touch and go for a few days, she had to undergo an emergency spay, which
was quite dangerous considering the amount of blood she was losing, they
had to remove everything, as her uterus was constantly bleeding. Our vet
told us how lucky she was to still be with us. The first few days
after her op were hard as she really wanted to be with her pups, but we
were told she had to rest and spend as little time with her babies as possible,
which was really hard for her as she loves to be in looking after them!
Anyway, Holly is on the mend,
the pups are pretty much completely weaned off her now, although they still
like to try!!
Hol is still on loads of medication
for her aneamia, but is through the worst!
Heres some updated pics:bear
in mind theyre all a bit mixed up - as we have been pre-occupied with holly!
some are at 3 weeks, some are
at 4!!!
I havent weighed them as yet, but i will do any day now!!
