Harvey

Halloween Harvey
31st October 2000 - 20th July 2015

Harv is the wonderful accidental puppy that was first born in our house, there is a good story behind him!!  Jak & Holly were my first dogs, and after Jak was neutered, he still tied with Holly one day, so off we went to the vets to have the mis-mate injection...just in case!  then on Halloween in 2000 she produced one single male puppy - HARVEY!

He has been rather accident prone, his previous misdemeanors include breaking his tail while diving into a river, twice!! Donkey kicking a vet in the face, bruising all of her jaw! Eating a whole cooked chicken while left alone for less than a minute, including the bag it was bought in....AND the carrier bag for good measure!

In 2007 Harv suffered from gastric torsion, a potentially life threatening condition, luckily he came through the life saving operation, and his only set back is he now suffers from colitis regularly and finds it very hard to keep weight on.

Now Jak & Holly have gone to rainbow bridge, harv is now the eldest of all of our dogs, he in NO WAY acts it, apart from the odd grumpy moments, where you can tell he is his fathers son :)
